W1YU participated in the ARRL School Round Up, our first on air contest since Field Day 2008 and completed the five day event with a final score of 2,670 points based on 47 QSOs (42 PSK31, 5 SSB).
AB1DQ and W1TXM shared operator duties and together worked 17 US States, 3 DXCC entities (Cuba, Colombia & Venezuela) and made phone contacts with W1YU member W1YSM, Ed in Wallingford on three bands, and appropriately concluded work in the contest by working former W1YU president, W1YAE, George, in NH on 80M.
