Event description:

Join us on the air on Tuesday evening, May 9, 2017 at 8:00 pm EDT on the Woodbridge 442.500 Mhz (073 DCS) W1WPD/R repeater as we celebrate our first anniversary of the weekly Yale ARC net!

Starting on May 10, 2016, we will have been on the air every week, discussing our weekly topic, passing traffic and performing radio checks.  The W1YU net is informal and fun and radio amateurs EVERYWHERE are encouraged to check in.  If you are outside of the Woodbridge/New Haven vicinity, you can check in via Echolink or IRLP by way of the NEW ENG Conference nodes.

Dr. Ed Snyder will be your Net Control Station for the anniversary net and he has a few surprises planned.  Everyone who checks in will receive a commemorative certificate and QSL card.

IF YOU ARE IN NEW HAVEN that night, please come to our open shack night that will proceed the net.  Join us starting at 6pm at W1YU located on the second floor of the Graduate Club at 155 Elm Street in New Haven.  Refreshments will be served!

Hope you will join us!
