W1YU, the Amateur Radio Club at Yale University will be hosting the second annual Collegiate Amateur Radio Initiative Symposium at the ARRL New England Conference at Boxboro on Sunday September 10th from 8:30 am to Noon.
Our agenda will be three fold, featuring guest presentations from other collegiate clubs, followed by two back to back round table forums:.
- 8:30 - 10:00 am Guest Presentations, hosted by James M. Surprenant, AB1DQ
- Michigan State University, W8SH, with Scott Westerman, W9WSW
- Case Western Reserve University, W8EDU, with David Kazdan, A8DY
- US Military Academy, W2KGY, with Cpt. Matthew G. Sherburne, KF4WZB
- Harrisburg Acacemy, N3HAC, with Sean Barnes, N3JQ
- 10:00 – 11:00 am CARI OTA Planning Round Table Discussion hosted by Dr. Edward L. Snyder, W1YSM
- 11:00 am - noon: Current State of Collegiate Amateur Radio, hosted by Scott Matheson, N3NFP and featuring ARRL CEO Tom Gallagher, Ny2RF
